Roy Kiser is the managing partner and funeral director in charge of Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Roy and the Mayfield family formed Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in the fall of 1999 to serve the Fort Worth/Burleson communities. Roy went to work for the Mayfield’s in 1995 following his graduation from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston. Roy is licensed by the State of Texas as both a funeral director and embalmer and began his career in funeral service while attending Baylor University in Waco in 1991. Roy, a native of Plainview is a 1993 graduate of Baylor earning a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in management and real estate. While at Baylor, Roy was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. His community involvement has included the Burleson Lions Club and the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as an ambassador. Roy makes his home in Burleson and is married to the former Deanna Lynn Gilbert. The Kisers are active members of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, where they periodically teach Biblical Principles on financial stewardship. In his spare time Roy enjoys hunting, fishing, horticulture, traveling and SCUBA diving with his wife. The Kiser’s have both earned Advanced SCUBA certifications.


Tammy Hukel has been with Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home since its opening in the Spring of 2000 and is currently the Assistant Managing Funeral Director. She is a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Tammy has served three terms on the Board of Directors for the North Texas Funeral Directors Association and was previously a location manager for a publicly traded funeral provider and cremation society. Tammy has been instrumental in assisting in the development of strategies to target the cremation-oriented customer. Tammy and her husband Mark live in Grandview and have three daughters and two sons. The Hukels are members of the Grandview Church of Christ.
